1. The history of Fomat’s establishment and development.

Fomat was founded in 1973 in Lucca, Italy, and has since provided quality services and innovative products to the paper industry. With over 5000 installations worldwide, the company has developed well-tested solutions for increasing efficiency, runnability, and energy savings in paper mills. Fomat is now a brand of AEROTHERMIC SRL with 75 employees and state-of-the-art manufacturing instruments and machineries. Their unique business model allows for uncompromised quality control and constant innovation in designing, engineering, and manufacturing each component in-house. Fomat has expanded its know-how in automation, control process, and electronic engineering, and offers clients the option to integrate their items into the overall machine DCS or supply Fomat units with a standalone control panel, upon request.
