1. The history of Bonetti’s establishment and development.
Bonetti is a company that has been supplying the pulp and paper industry since 1923. They started by supplying coater blades, but in the late 1960s, they began receiving requests for doctor and creping steel blades. In the 1980s, they started producing synthetic-material doctor blades. Bonetti has been developing "hi-tech" materials to meet specific customer needs and in the mid-1990s, they added Doctoring and Creping Systems to their product lines. They have manufactured and installed high-quality Doctor Holders, Systems, and Spare Parts with innovative design features throughout the world. To meet worldwide product demands, they inaugurated four new manufacturing facilities in the 1990s and 2000s. Bonetti's success has always been based on a timely response to the needs and demands of the markets it serves, and they are now in the third generation of family ownership.

3. Service
3.1. DOCTORING AUDIT
Bonetti, with its specialists, can offer a complete audit of the doctoring systems and the blades in use.
For doctoring systems the audit includes a geometric check of the mechanical condition of the doctors.
For blades, the audit includes a check of all the blades used as well as an analysis of both existing wear and of wear pattern.
The detailed report is a photograph of the existing situation and highlights any inconsistency with best practice. The report also includes a priority list of actions to improve doctoring and to avoid this being a production bottleneck.
3.2. BLADE ANALYSIS
Bonetti’s offers its clients a blade-analysis service with two basic objectives:
• to co-operate with clients to solve contingent and/or structural problems
• to carry out systematic checks on all materials in use in order to checkthat the conditions of the client’s process are within the planned tolerances.
3.3. SUPERVISION AT INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
Bonetti’s is available for technical supervision during installation of doctoring systems and for their subsequent maintenance.It is recommended that use be made of the experience of Bonetti’s technical staff to ensure that the doctoring system works best. After each action a report is prepared on the operations carried out and recommendations are made as to ordinary maintenance.
