1. The history of Asten Johnson's establishment and development

AstenJohnson has a history dating back to 1790 with the Johnson family opening Manchester Wire Works in Manchester, England, while the Asten family launched V. Asten and Company in Belgium producing felts for European papermakers. In 1999, Asten, Inc. and the JWI Group merged and acquired Asten AG in Eupen, Belgium. Today, AstenJohnson products are used in mills throughout the world, creating all types of paper. The company is known for supplying fabrics and helping customers improve their productivity and achieve superior results.
